Sport Photography

Steve Lindridge has covered some of the world’s biggest sporting events from the British Open Golf Championship to the Champions League football.

He has been the official photographer for the Scottish Team at the last three Commonwealth Game’s in Kuala Lumpur, Manchester and Melbourne. 

While in Manchester, Steve won the coveted Bank of Scotland press award for the
‘Best photographer of the Games’.

His exhibition ‘Sporting Heroes’ launched at the Scottish Parliament is on nationwide tour throughout 2007.

As well as major international sporting events Ideal Images has covered many domestic competitions and events including the BAA youth Games, Edinburgh Marathon, Athletics Grand Prix and Mountain Bike World Cup.
